Well, if they remove the drives outside your iMac for data recovery, please ensure you are aware and that the techs verify that you have a Fusion Drive. A Fusion Drive on an iMac is a combination of a large capacity HDD and lower capacity SSD. Both those devices are needed to have a complete file recovery.
