Data Recovery Guru doesn't share your recovered data content with any third parties. This is data recovery industry standard practice, as it is a data sensitive industry.
Data Recovery Guru also doesn’t load any of the recovered files to the cloud, UNLESS customers specifically request to do so for convenience.
Regarding the data whereabouts throughout the recovery process, it will be on the following media:
1) Your failed drive
2) The healthy clone drive we will be cloning the data to (or image file onto a local storage)
3) The new external or flash drive we will save the files to and deliver to you
What will happen once the data recovery process is complete?
>The failed drive will get destroyed and recycled.
>We offer a 10 days warranty on the recovered files, so we will keep the clone drive or image in our local lab for 10 days after the recovered data will be delivered to you. After the 10 days mark, the data on the clone drive or image will be destroyed according to DoD Standard.
> The new external or flash drive containing the recovered data will go to you as the deliverable.
> For extra security, Data Recovery Guru can encrypt the data on the deliverable device at the customer’s request. An extra fee may apply if the encryption procedure is complex and time-consuming.
